My dad and cousins Brenda & Eddie with "our" dog Nikkie and "their" dog Dusty on an old bed at an old cabin owned by my mother's aunt's family; the cabin is located just right outside of Mifflintown, PA in Juniata Cnty.

Here's NIKKIE, the "original" dog, peeking in our basement window of the house where I grew up, and the red "Orich" barn that my dad and I used to play in to hide from Nikkie to see how long it'd take for him to find us.
My dad and Nikkie during Christmas when my dad was still alive. My dad frequently liked to go up to the red barn [seen in the background in "Nikkie's Window"] and the large field behind the barn for walks. My dad always liked animals, as he also had a sparrow or two, a couple Quail, and a rabbit, although not all at the same time. After about 14 years, Nikkie was put to sleep and my dad got a sheepdog named Benji.
